Christian Aid 2007 Sketch of Alyth Parish Church

Mr. Dick Poor, one of the local Christian Aid organisers, welcomed everyone to the Christian Aid Afternoon Tea.

13TH MAY 2007
The Christian Aid Sunday service at Alyth Parish Church culminated in a tree planting outside the church gates to celebrate 50 years of Christian Aid, and mark this year’s theme of ‘Growing a Future’.
In the afternoon, members from the three Alyth churches, the Parish, St. Ninian’s and St. Luan’s, held an Afternoon Tea in Airlie Street Hall, to raise awareness at the start of Christian Aid week. An estimated 120 people supported the event raising £266 in sapling sponsorship.
